Christina Evans, MSW, LCSW, LCAS-A
Christina serves as the Clinical Director, bringing over a decade of diverse experience in mental health and well-being. Currently, she also works with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, contributing her expertise to the care and support of veterans.
In addition to her clinical work, Christina is an Adjunct Professor at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University’s John R. and Kathy R. Hairston College of Health and Human Sciences, where she applies her real-world experience to educating future social workers. Her teaching aligns with her extensive background in mental health and social services, enhancing her ability to lead and develop the next generation of professionals.
As Clinical Director, Christina oversees strategic operations, team management, and program development, ensuring the highest standards of care and quality assurance. She plays a vital role in enhancing collaboration, patient care, and professional development within the behavioral health team. Christina is also a supervisor for Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associates (LCSW-A), supporting their growth and development in clinical practice.
Previously, Christina held impactful roles at institutions such as Duke University Health System, UNC Health Care, and Cone Health, where she refined her skills in case management, patient advocacy, and interdisciplinary teamwork. Her work as a Social Services Case Manager with DeKalb Department of Family and Children Services demonstrated her commitment to child welfare, collaborating with law enforcement to ensure the safety of vulnerable populations.
Christina holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
