  • Volunteers do not provide clinical care unless separately qualified, credentialed and authorized
  • No one receives access to protected health information without a legitimate role and required agreements
  • Background checks, training and supervision depend on the assignment
  • Participation is not guaranteed and depends on current operational capacity
