Professional Training That Moves Beyond Theory

Our trainings are designed for providers who work with real people facing real barriers — court involvement, trauma, substance use, reentry, cultural mistrust, documentation demands, ethical gray areas, and integrated care needs.
These courses are not built to be boring slide decks. They are built to give professionals language, tools, templates, case examples, and practice strategies they can use immediately.

Why Our Trainings Are Different

The Ship Group trainings are developed from direct experience in behavioral health leadership, criminal justice, reentry, compliance, treatment operations, and community-based service delivery.

Our courses are designed to help professionals:

  • Improve client engagement and retention
  • Strengthen ethical decision-making
  • Understand justice-involved and high-barrier populations
  • Improve documentation and communication
  • Apply culturally responsive and trauma-informed care
  • Coordinate across courts, probation, medical providers, support teams, and community systems
  • Leave with tools they can use in practice

CEU Disclaimer / Approval Language

Some trainings offered by The Ship Group Training Institute are approved for continuing education credit. Each course page will clearly state the course approval status, number of hours, category, completion requirements, and certificate process.

Participants are responsible for confirming whether a course meets the requirements of their specific credentialing board, licensing board, employer, or renewal need. Completion of a course does not guarantee licensure, certification, employment, or credential approval unless expressly stated by the approving body.

For CEU courses, certificates are issued after completion of all required modules, post-test, and course evaluation.

This language is important because NCASPPB requires proper approval and certificate handling for approved trainings.
