TSG Behavioral Health & Community Services
Our mission is to expand access to high-quality, person-centered, trauma-responsive care that supports mental wellness, physical health, and long-term stability.
We are committed to removing barriers to care and ensuring individuals—regardless of background, income, housing status, or life circumstance—have access to services that promote healing, dignity, and opportunity.
The Ship Group Behavioral Health & Community Services (TSGBH) is a community-based organization created to serve individuals and families whose needs are often underserved, overlooked, or difficult to engage through traditional systems of care.
Too often, people facing mental health challenges, substance use, housing instability, or major life transitions are expected to navigate fragmented systems without adequate support. TSGBH exists to change that.
We provide care that is accessible, respectful, and grounded in real life—designed to meet people where they are and support meaningful progress forward.
You don’t need everything figured out to begin. Support starts where you are.
TSGBH serves individuals and communities across North Carolina, with a focused commitment to those who experience the greatest barriers to care, including:
Individuals experiencing housing instability or homelessness
People navigating mental health and substance use challenges
Justice-involved and reentry populations
Individuals facing multiple life stressors or system barriers
Residents of rural and underserved communities
We believe people are more than diagnoses—and that real progress requires care designed for real life.
We operate with honesty, confidentiality, and accountability. TSGBH follows ethical standards, protects client privacy, and maintains transparent communication with clients, families, referral partners, and payers.
We provide evidence-informed, person-centered services with clear clinical standards. Our team prioritizes accurate documentation, consistent service delivery, and continuous quality improvement to support strong outcomes and compliance.
We stay committed—especially when progress is difficult. We support clients through setbacks, barriers, and life transitions with structure, encouragement, and consistent follow-up so goals remain realistic and attainable.
We deliver culturally responsive care that respects identity, lived experience, and community context. TSGBH is committed to equity, inclusion, and reducing barriers to behavioral health access—especially in underserved and rural communities.
TSGBH is committed to strengthening communities by reducing crisis, improving engagement in care, and supporting pathways to stability and wellness.
We believe access to quality care should not depend on convenience or circumstance. Our role is to meet people where they are—and walk alongside them toward better outcomes.
