The Ship Group Behavioral Health & Community Services (TSGBH) is a community-based organization created to serve individuals and families whose needs are often underserved, overlooked, or difficult to engage through traditional systems of care.
Too often, people facing mental health challenges, substance use, housing instability, or major life transitions are expected to navigate fragmented systems without adequate support. TSGBH exists to change that.
We provide care that is accessible, respectful, and grounded in real life—designed to meet people where they are and support meaningful progress forward.

TSGBH serves individuals and communities across North Carolina, with a focused commitment to those who experience the greatest barriers to care, including:
Individuals experiencing housing instability or homelessness
People navigating mental health and substance use challenges
Justice-involved and reentry populations
Individuals facing multiple life stressors or system barriers
Residents of rural and underserved communities
